Mobile Library Van
The mobile library is one of the ways in which Kent County Council's library service can help residents who can’t get to a local library, or don't have time to visit. Details can be seen on the KCC Mobile Library webpage.

In the Deal and Walmer area, the Kent County Council mobile library van calls at:
  • Hillcrest Gardens, Walmer - alternate Saturdays at 11.20am - 11.50am;
  • Jarvist Place, Kingsdown - alternate Saturdays at 12.50pm - 1.20pm;
  • Kings Close, Kingsdown - alternate Saturdays at 1.30pm - 2pm;
  • Fiveways Rise, Sholden - alternate Fridays at 11.10am - 11.55am;
  • Caesar Court, Mongeham - alternate Saturdays at 10.35am - 11.05am.
   
"Time2Give" Volunteering
Time2Give is a volunteering programme managed by Community Service Volunteers (CSV) for Kent Libraries and Archives. It provides enjoyable and worthwhile volunteering opportunities at the county's libraries with activities for everyone, whatever their age, experience or the amount of time they are able to give.
