Covid-19 arrangements:
  Deal Library is open for Select and Collect * as well as bookshelf browsing and borrowing.
   All regular library events and activities - including Storytime, Talk Time, Rhyme Time and interest groups - are suspended until further notice.
   The Library Extra service will also be unavailable until further notice.

Opening Times: Mondays - Saturdays 10am-4pm; Sundays closed.

Mobile Library Van
  Covid-19 arrangements:
The mobile library service resumed on Tuesday 15 September 2020.
Due to the coronavirus, the mobile library service will be operating a Select and Collect service. For details, click here.

The Kent County Council mobile library van calls at:
  • Hillcrest Gardens, Walmer - monthly on Saturday at 11.20am - 11.50am;
  • Jarvist Place, Kingsdown - monthly on Saturday at 12.50pm - 1.20pm;
  • Kings Close, Kingsdown - monthly on Saturday at 1.30pm - 2pm;
  • Fiveways Rise, Sholden - monthly on Friday at 11.10am - 11.55am;
  • Caesar Court, Mongeham - monthly on Saturday at 10.35am - 11.05am.

"Time2Give" Volunteering
Time2Give is a volunteering programme managed by Community Service Volunteers (CSV) for Kent Libraries and Archives. It provides enjoyable and worthwhile volunteering opportunities at the county's libraries with activities for everyone, whatever their age, experience or the amount of time they are able to give.
