In 2009, the 8th Lambeth Scouts celebrated 100 years of serving local young people at Stockwell, South London.

The Scout Troop caters for 11- to 16-year-olds and its members are encouraged to take on challenges both indoors and outdoors including orienteering, pioneering, survival tasks and sports activities, individually and working as teams.

There are two other sections for younger boys: the Beavers for 6- to 8-year-olds and the Cubs for 8- to 10½-year-olds.

Meetings are held in The Church Hall, St Michael's Church, Stockwell Park Crescent, Stockwell, London SW9 0DA on Thursday evenings.
