Community Association

The Deal and Walmer Community Association is a charity based at the Landmark Centre, a renovated church at 129 High Street, Deal CT14 6BB. It runs a variety of activities for the local community. The centre also has three halls for hire, suitable for family parties, conferencing etc, plus small rooms for office space and therapy work and an IT suite. It is home to various groups and amenities including the Cleary Club and Spires Bistro/Internet Cafe.

Deal - St. Omer
Twinning Society

The Society fosters an active relationship with members of the Saint-Omer Society in France, meeting together twice a year. In Deal, members enjoy outings throughout the year and monthly meetings (Wednesday evenings) in Deal Town Hall. Meetings feature interesting speakers, plus a buffet and glass of wine - all included in the annual membership fee of £5.

Inner Wheel Club of Deal Meets at the 1919 Angling Club, 13 The Marina, Deal on the first Monday of the month, 12noon for 12.30pm. The aims of Inner Wheel are to promote true friendship, encourage the ideas of personal service and foster international understanding. Group

Established in 2010 and with over 400 members, the Kingsdown Conservation Group seeks to stimulate public interest in the history, character and beauty of Kingsdown; acts as a forum and co-ordinates the views of Kingsdown residents about local issues and concern; and encourages conservation, enhancement and improvement in the parish.
