Dean Academy of Performing Arts (DAPA) Meet at Goodwin Academy, Mill Road, Deal. Classes include:
"Jolly Tots" dance classes for pre-school and Year R children with ballet, tap and imaginative dance taught in a fun and friendly environment. Jolly Tots classes are free of charge for the first 12-week term. Meet on Wednesdays at 4.15pm, Fridays at 4pm and Saturdays at 9.30am;
Dance and musical theatre classes for children from 3- to 18-years old; and
Adult Ballet classes. We also stage annual shows and provide support for exams and awards.

Handelian Society,
Deal and Walmer
The last surviving society of its type in the UK, founded as a 'small choral society with affinity towards Handel' in 1946 by Dr James S Hall, an eminent Handelian Scholar. Railway Swing Band, The The Railway Swing Band features professional and serious amateur musicians living within a 20 mile radius of Deal. Their ages range from 13 to 87 and they have built up a reputation by raising money for local charities. Dave White

Singing for Pleasure Meets at two local venues during school term times to learn folk songs from around lhe world; no experience is necessary. Sessions cost £5 and are at:
