Deal Academy of Performing Arts (DAPA) Meet at Goodwin Academy, Mill Road, Deal CT14 9BD. Classes include: Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz, Irish Dance, Street Dance, Musical Theatre, Singing, Acro Classes and Vocational and are held Mondays-Fridays (late afternoon/early evening) and Saturdays (morning/afternoon). Handelian Society,
Deal and Walmer
The last surviving society of its type in the UK, founded as a 'small choral society with affinity towards Handel' in 1946 by Dr James S Hall, an eminent Handelian Scholar. The Society presents three concerts a year, one of which is a Handel Oratorio. Rehearsals: Mondays 7.15pm-9pm in Deal Parochial CofE Primary School Hall, Gladstone Road, Walmer.
