Most people will immediately think of the White Cliffs of Dover when the Kent coastline is mentioned. But the rest of the 350 miles* of the Garden of England's coast offers amazing variety and is well worth exploring. Everything from sandy beaches perfect for family outings.... to deserted marshes, a birdwatcher's paradise.

The aim of this website is to provide a pictorial reference to the entire coastline and answer the first question most people will ask when planning a trip: "what's the beach like?".

Some areas aren't fully covered yet and you may be able to help. The next part of this page explains how.

To submit pictures for consideration, please use your graphics program to reduce photos to 600 to 800 pixels wide and save in JPEG format (with no more than 20% compression).
